Journalism is not only about creating sensational stories and headlines, which might be a mistake being made by today’s mainstream media. Media is rightly criticized for hiding the truth sometimes. In contrast to this, Quran says in Surah Ahzab, verse 70: “O you who believe! Be careful of (your duty to) Allah and speak the right word.” At another place in Surah Baqarah, verse 42 Allah says: “And do not mix up the truth with the falsehood, nor hide the truth while you know (it).”
